Kathryn (Kathi) Senor holds a Bachelors Degree in English with an Elementary Education certificate from the University of Northern Colorado. She holds a Masters degree in Computers in Education from Lesley University and an Educational Leadership Endorsement from Mesa State College.
Kathi has strong roots in the Garfield Re-2 School District. Though she does share the name of a school in the District – Kathryn Senor Elementary in New Castle - that building was named for her grandmother-in-law. Despite not having a named facility, Kathi’s ties to western Garfield County and Garfield Re-2 are undeniable. She is a Rifle High School graduate, both of her children attended Garfield Re-2 schools, and she has been an instructor in the district for over 15-years. Kathi taught first grade, second grade, was the instructional reading coach at Elk Creek Elementary, and has served as the Success For All District Reading Coach.
Kathi has come back home to Wamsley – her first teaching position in Garfield Re-2 was as a first grade teacher at Wamsley Elementary!
